I'm Asa, the founder of CarpDork®. I've been an angler for over 25 years. My passion for fishing began when I was a child, fishing for silvers with my father. As a junior, I joined Wakefield angling club and began match fishing,developing a love for the sport.
As I got older, I started fishing at commercial carp fisheries and eventually made a natural progression to big carp angling. I've experimented with baits all my life, developing a deep understanding of how different baits and techniques can be used to target different species, in varying weather conditions and water temperatures.
With my angling experience and own field tests over the last 2 decades, I believe that Carpdork produce the finest carp fishing baits available. My extensive experience and expertise in the field gave me the confidence to quit my career in the mining industry and launch Carpdork as a business.
AJ is a skilled big carp angler, dedicated field tester for Carpdork®, and competitive angler with over 20 years of experience. He was part of the 2010 Intermediate National Championship winning team on the Chesterfield Canal and his team achieved 2nd place overall at the 2017 Bait-Tech Supercup Final held at Barston Lake.
AJ's expertise in big carp angling has been instrumental in the development of some of Carpdork®'s most effective baits, and we're currently working with him to develop a range of match-style baits. Despite being a professional rugby league player for Rochdale Hornets, AJ is committed to fishing and constantly looks for new ways to improve his skills.
His dedication and passion for the sport make him an asset to our team and a respected member of the angling community.
Lewis has been an integral part to the development of our baits at carpdork®. Hes been out on the grind, tricky low stock pits, european public waters and pressured UK day ticket venues, with coinsistent results.
Over the last year Lewis has built a lot of confidence in our kraken hookbaits and theyre his go to bait where ever he goes "Get on the Kraken and you cant miss"
Tom is an integral member of our team and has been fishing for over 20 years, gaining experience in all aspects of fishing. As our bait development specialist and field tester, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the table.
Tom's ability to develop and refine new bait ideas has been invaluable, and he has played a key role in the success of some of our most popular products. In addition to his work as a bait development specialist, Tom is reguraly in the Carpdork® bait factory, where he is involved in the manufacturing process.
His passion for the sport and attention to detail make him a valuable asset to our team. Tom frequently visits Trent View & Embryo angling habitats Norton Disney complex and his favorate lake is Billys.
Danny does it right. Carp fishing in its purest form. Light and mobile, looking for shows. Frequently you will see Danny fishing with one rod with his push bike in tow. "90% of my angling consists of solid bags, during the colder months ill opt for singles or fish over a light spread of boilie. Tom started pleasure fishing when he was a child. Now as many of us do he now hunts for big carp. "Big low stock venues and pressured day ticket lakes. Ive got a taste for creating my own swims in the over growth so i can acess the spots that other anglers cant in order to trip up thoeser weiry carp.
I love to be mobile and im a tart for a 6ft rod in the edge. Im in the British Army and i fish in my regiments carp team. I Love a match the hatch hookbait topped off with a Pineapple & Butyric acid wafter"
